The MOTU Audio Express offers comprehensive connectivity allowing you to hook up your mics, guitar, keyboards and other audio sources and easily mix and route them to your computer or live venueÕs PA system. The front panel is adorned with all the knobs and information needed to effortlessly route your audio signals to their proper destination. Microphone controls 1 and 2 feature 48v phantom power for your sensitive condenser mics. Line level controls for inputs 3 and 4, a SPDIF level control and the master mix volume control are all within easy reach for quick and painless adjustments and a dedicated volume knob for the front panel headphone jack lets you set your level to a comfortable listening level. The easy to read front panel LED displays all your levels and recording status readouts so you always know whatÕs going on under the hood, behind the chassis and inside your computer.

Rear panel connections include 2 mic/guitar combo jacks, 2-1/4Ó line inputs, 4-1/4Ó outputs, pedal jack, SPDIF I/O, FireWire 400, USB 2.0 and MIDI I/O.

Included with the MOTU Audio Express FireWire/USB 2.0 6 x 6 Audio Interface is MOTUÕs AudioDesk workstation software for the Macintosh. It enables you to record, edit, mix and master using real-time 32-bit effects processing and sample-accurate synchronization. CueMix FX software for both Mac and PC gives you control of Audio ExpressÕ on-board mixer. It includes a tuner, oscilloscope, FFT/spectrogram and phase analysis tools.

Also included is a power supply for stand-alone operation (bus-powered FireWire connection means you wont need an external power supply.
